A guide to care and cost
What belongs in the full cost?
Read the bill in parts. Then ask what your insurance plan pays for.
The US agency for medicine reviews is the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
As of September 30, 2026, no US Selank product has FDA approval. There is no published price from a US maker or government source for this guide to quote.
Ask for a bill you can compare
Keep the fee for care separate from any price for a product. Ask for each charge in writing.
The first visit
What does the first visit cost? Does that fee include an examination or tests? Is it still due if the doctor decides against prescribing?
A membership
If a membership fee repeats, what does it cover? Ask how to cancel and when the next charge starts.
The medicine
If a product is proposed, is its cost part of the care fee or a separate charge? Ask who makes it.
Tests and later care
Ask about the price of each proposed test, the next visit and help between visits. Put any delivery charge on the list too.
Will insurance pay?
Ask your insurance company about the visit, any tests and the proposed product as separate items. Request a written answer.
- Does my plan pay for a visit to discuss my symptoms with this doctor?
- Are the proposed tests covered, and does the plan need to agree before they happen?
- What will I owe after the plan pays its share?
- If the service does not bill my plan, can I submit the bill myself?
Tests need a reason, not just a price
As of September 30, 2026, Selank has no FDA label—the official instructions for an approved medicine—to set tests or follow-up.
That gap cannot tell you what tests you need. Ask how each proposed test would change the care plan.
- What is this test meant to find?
- Does the quoted test price include all fees?
- Who explains the result, and is that visit included?
- What happens if the doctor needs to examine me in person?
Compare the first bill with the later bills
If the quote has a starting offer, ask what happens when it ends. Compare the same items and the same time span.
- Which charges happen only at the start?
- Which charges keep coming, even without a new visit?
- Is payment due before the first visit or after the care plan is discussed?
- What is refunded if the doctor decides against treatment?
A paid visit is not permission to use Selank
Ask two separate questions: what does the visit cost, and what allows the pharmacy to make the proposed medicine?
- As of September 30, 2026, Selank still had no FDA approval in the US.
- The people or groups who asked to allow Selank in medicines made to order took back their request. That did not give a pharmacy permission to use it.
- A prescription alone does not let a pharmacy use Selank to make a medicine. Ask the doctor and pharmacy what rule allows the proposed product.
